  1. Please Upload Pics if you have . It means , Currently I have 240-Watt AC Adapter for My New Alienware 17x with GTX880m 8GB ddr5 , After your Confirmation Can I use 330-Watt AC Adapter for my New Alienware 17x ? 2. Hi All, I did My New Alienware 17x Main board BIOS recovery , I just Follow the this Link BIOS Recovery in case you brick your M17x R3 But I need to modified some STEP Like this:- Download the BIOS you wish to restore to, in my case Support | Dell US file name is AW17A11.exe Download the BIOS editor application Phoenixtool256.zip v2.56 from - https://www.sendspace.com/file/vebtct or Download Phoenixtool256.zip Use double click the bios EXE file (ie AW17A11.exe) to extract the BIOS exe to get the *.fd file in C:\Users\yourUSERname\AppData\Local\Temp\xxxxx.tmp and load it into the previous application(Phoenixtool256). It will tell you what the recovery file name needs to be. (Don't use Winrar to extract this BIOS exe You will never get *.fd file) Original Bios filename was VAS00A11.fd In my case, the A11 recovery filename was VAS00X64.fd Copy the file to a usb stick formatted FAT/FAT32 (I use 512 MB old USB STICK FAT32) Unplug the battery from your Alienware Plug USB stick into any USB port (because there is no eSATA port) Hold the "END" key on the internal keyboard and while holding plug in the Power cable. The fans will kick up and it will start reading the file and initiate the reflash. In My case There was NO beep But Alienware Main BIOS was flashing I have waited around 5 Minutes then Machine Automatically shut off and reboot about 1 time. So Crisis recovery Process was Successfully DONE for Main bios. System BIOS recovery Was done successfully Because I have recover my System BIOS (Previous Version A10) to A11 using Above Method. Thanks:smilingface (52):
  3. Hi, My GTX880m Card got Replaced under Warranty Now Again My Alienware 17x is UP and Running. So Crisis recovery Process was Succesfully DONE for Main bios. BUT STILL my GTX880m is DEAD with BAD flash ie NO BEEP NO POST NO Display. I just Wonder During Crisis Recovery System is using ALL USB PORT ie ALL USB having POWER. Now I am looking for Another option to recover my GTX880m VBIOS:culpability:. Thanks

I am ready to Pay Donation if you unlock my GTX880m 8 GB Vbios. Please find my GTX880m BIOS as GXT880MS.rar file in following location. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-HKx43eTnrwakJRN3p1LURNVUk/edit?usp=sharing Thanks in Advance.
  10. Hi, I have SVS15125 Windows 8 pro x64 with Latest BIOS version R1021C8. For overclocking Just u need latest nvidiainspector and Optional -- MSI Afterburner (Just for sure While playing the Game, it will show FPS, GPU clock and Memory Clock left up side corner of ur LCD screen) . and Follow step above or below---- Place latest version of nvidiainspector anywhere under c:\ drive and then right click "Create Shortcut" on desktop. Then go to nvidiainspector Shortcut and right Click and you modify the Target Path in Properties to whatever specs you want with the format below: Ok this is exactly what the path in the shortcut for the Overclock should be " -forcepstate:0,0 -setGpuClock:0,1,1000 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,100 " without quote. after the "C:\xxxx\nvidiaInspector\nvidiaInspector. exe ". Overclock: C:\Users\USERNAME\nvidiaInspector\nvidiaInspector. exe -forcepstate:0,0 -setGpuClock:0,1,1000 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,100 That's for 1000/1000 Mhz If you want 950/1000 MHz you change what values XXXX are to 950 "-setGpuClock:0,1,XXXX" Rest follow the above step in previous POST. This will work Original and Updated Windows 8 x64 or x86 version with any BIOS.
  11. Windows 8 - Updated Official BIOS - Latest Nvidia Driver (320.18) Overclock Workaround First you open nvidiainspector and click "Create Clocks Shortcut" Then you modify the Target Path in Properties to whatever specs you want with the format below: Ok this is exactly what the path in the shortcut for the Overclock should be Overclock: C:\Users\USERNAME\nvidiaInspector\nvidiaInspector.exe -forcepstate:0,0 -setGpuClock:0,1,1000 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,100 That's for 1000/1000 Mhz If you want 950/1000 MHz you change what values XXXX are to 950 "-setGpuClock:0,1,XXXX" If you want to up the Memory Clocks just do it with the slider in nvidiainspector. Default: C:\Users\USERNAME\nvidiaInspector\\nvidiaInspector.exe -forcepstate:0,16 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,0 Sets the GPU clock to back to default GPU Clock to 500 MHz and the Memory Clock to 900 MHz Think of the shortcuts as Overclock and Default for ON and OFF I Have tested and Working on Wondows 8 Flawlessly. Now I am Happy with SVS15125CNB Model. Many Thanks to Originally Posted by Myst3ri0n;;Sony Vaio S Bios Mod For Gt640m Le Originally Posted by Myst3ri0n
