AFAIK it goes to 7.9 but was then "discontinued" in windows 8. On a separate note though @Ozwald for what reasons did you go for the m14x modded bios apart from the faster SATA speed? (I did ask in the relevant thread but it was never approved for some reason)

Apple do appear to be sacrificing upgradability for form factor and design these days. Though I think its the price you have to pay for it, always go for the most storage you can afford.

I got my r1 in december 2011, still going strong. No overheating, plays all the games I want. Handled sky rim on full settings on an apple cinema display too so all good here. Compared to newer stuff out now the GT 555M is lacking i think but I don't have to have ultra settings.

So I got a 2014 11" macbook air, i7 1.7GHz, 8 GB 1600 ram, HD5000 graphics with 1536 memory, 512 GB samsung SSD. Put windows 7 on with boot camp and the WEI score is only 0.2 off my m14x if you ignore the hard drive score on the AW. Mac scores 6.7, AW scores 6.9 (limited by gt 555m) Whats the best WEI subscore anyones had out of the GT 555M? Just trying to decide how far to OC my GPU.
