Okay, so at least we don't need a SPI programmer to dump the bios, I used Universal Bios backup ;)

No. Dump created with hardware SPI programmer is very different than your dump created with Universal Bios backup tool. If you will try to flash (with SPI programmer) your dump which created with Universal Bios backup tool, then laptop can't start!

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to make a modded bios with maxwell bio tweaker?

My problem is, that I want the basic clocks for my system, but just want to be able to verclock past the 135MHz limit.

    So I don't want a permanent OC.

    My specs:

    Medion Erazer x7841

    GTX 970m 3GB

    Thank's in advance!

    Hi!

    Ok. Check PM.

It's locked & hidden by default, but I've got an i7 8700k & I'd like to utilise the intel 'quick sync'/hardware acceleration in Adobe encoding in order to speed up rendering. You don't need to have a display connected to it for it to work (i believe), but it's really fustrating how it is locked out, as it means I'm missing out on quite a useful time saving feature.

Is there any way to activate or mod this?

    Thanks!

    Hi!
Post here your file backup of bios, I'll take a look what we can do with it.
For creating backup of bios you can use attached program. Extract attached archive directly on the Desktop and run the program as Administrator (right click mouse). Program will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Upload this archive "results" to any fileserver, and post the link.

    Hi everyone!

Trying to overclock 3940XM in m17x r4, put in BIOS all cores 4.2 and +5 VID, on partial load all cores goes on 4.2 with no problem, but when I run XTU test or some other heavy tests freq. goes down to 3.5-3.6.

I've tried to increase VID +10 and +15   --   CPU maintain arrund 4.0GHz for short, after drops to 3.5-3.6.

With VID +20 and +25    -- it drops immediately to 3.5 and I noticed that actual VID all the time jumping 1.01-1.15V under load, but on idle it goes to 1.31.

Ok, on VID +20 and more in looks like temperature going to high and may be it is throttling.

I've tried with all cores on 3.9GHz with same result...

And after with all cores 3.7GHz...and also under load drops to 3.5GHz.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi!

You should raise the power limits in bios setup menu.

    thx!

Right now i have I7 6700 without any problems with temp. After checked TDB for 6800k is 140W (65 for i7 6700). Do  you think that temperatures will be ok or shold prepare myself for delid CPU?

Oh... I'am wrong, sorry. i7 6800k it is 6-core CPU, for FCLGA2011-3 socket. Of course it don't compatible with FCLGA1151 socket in Cleve P751DM-G.
