here is my asic score

i had taken the screws from m18x r2 cpu heatsink and the springs.the screws are a bit longer and the springs more stronger,then is a better presure on it.with liquid metal and the cpu fan with 11cfm also from M18x r2 is the best solution. thanks a lot to Mr.Fox for this great idea

Windows 8 is not the Problem.all cpu in the AW18 throttling my <dt>Physics score is 8941 the bios lock the multiplicator.the new bios is the same shame for cpu oc the best solution is set to overclock Level 1 and lower all -1 except 3core and 4 core if i go higher there is no difference</dt>

so can you unlock this bios or modify it ?can you tell me why if i can only or only 1 original Driver without mod inf is working? did i make something wrong?

i have tested not only furmark.in 3d mark firestrike the temps about 88 degrees and higher on gpu 2.after then i tested furmark.now i have already flashed back to alienware bios and now the fan is working.

no it does not work gpu 2 going over 90 degrees fan not work. - - - Updated - - - runs toooooo hot on gpu 2 fan not work

i have repeated tests with furmark and the Card is running full at 1126 and 2505 Memory.with prema bios i had shutdowns.dont now too high temperature oder too much watts. i seen no switching from p0 to ather p Status. the two Cards have two different vbios from dell.running furmark with 1920x1080 Fullscreen 8x msaa.no throttling.with prema many shutdowns and the accu going from 100% in minutes to 88-70% down.with the witcher 3 shutdown.the most shutdown with call of duty aw.no ist running smooth.ohh i have seen no Pixels.the only Thing is after 10-20 minutes ghosting on Desktop wallpaper.only on dark grey

since 25 September on us site the new alienware 18 bios and vbios is out.i flashed the bios.and then i flashed the vbios on my ceg clevo Cards.the result makes me happy.the Cards run now cooler.max 74 degrees.the fan mode is now useless and the fan works now on Card 2.the vbios have the same firestrike Points like the prema vbios with no overclock 13400-13700 with no cpu overclock.no shutdowns bsod but i see at 15-20 minutes ghosting on Desktop Background on colour dark Grey.the only original Driver from Windows works without Driver sign out on Windows 8.1 353.84.you have to activate the Driver automatic install from Windows update and bevor you habe to deinstall all with ddu. have somebody a solution for other Driver original from nvidia to work.my english is poor and i hope all guys understand my post.greetings from vienna

hi equalize87 thank you for your help.i found the bios here.i thought the bios is only for clevo Notebooks. now the score from firestrike is 13982.no shut off.i am happy the max power Peak is 336 and the temps are around 76-78 under full load.my 11,7 cfm fan from m18x r2 works on the cpu around max 83 degrees thx for this info here in the Forum. greetings from Austria

hi equalize87 temperatures with stock bios is 70degrees. with oc bios is 76 under full load.now i have flashed the 2nd (sli) Card and the temperatures are 76 full load under 308 to 312 watt. i have 3 psu but dont know if it is good when i make a double psu because the People here said the dual psu only works on m18x r1 or r2. the next is when i have flashed both Cards the accu is draining in one Minute to 92% and the Notebook shuts off.i am not a technician but is it a solution to build a dual psu when the bios is locked?? shuts the Notebook off withdual psu?i dont know if it works. my Points are stock 12000 with oc bios(50-80mhz downclock both Cards automatic 17,5mv down) 13270points. if i want to oc the cpu boof and out thanks to your reply and help - - - Updated - - - hi equalize87 sorry i only have svl7 bios,where i get a "prema bios"? works on alienware 18.my Card are from ceg thx

hy svl7 sorry for my bad english.but i have a question. i have an alienware 18 now with dual gtx980m.with the normal bios the Cards are around 900mhz and the sli Card 531 ore like so.if i Flash to your bios 3dmark and other games the Notebooks shut of ore i have to downclock 30-50mhz.then i reached 13200 firestrike score.with stock 12000.what can i do?is for alienware better a 1126mhz bios with no boost because with 1203 full power the Notebook shut off.my cpu is a 4930mx cores are 42 41 40 40.liquid metal on cpu.never reached more than 85 degrees.thanks svl7 for you work here

a good question. i have two alienware 18 with gtx780m sli 2 Cards i can Flash and hope it works.not known about the garantee
