  1. Oh okay... I thought I saw a screenshot before somewhere that showed Prema 3DMark-benching the 780M on his P150EM... Hmmm I might be getting old
  2. Hi, sorry that it sounds a bit confusing for me... Above you mention that Dell 7xxm series can be read by Clevo EC, and then 7xxm do not work in clevo EM? And that this is a Bios issue? @Prema Does your custom Bios fix this?
  3. Hi Khenglish, could you clarify what is this ACPI issue exactly? I haven't heard of this before and google didn't turn up anything substantial.
  4. Hi Prema, Do you know if Dell Geforce GTX 780m or 880m would install in Clevo P150EM ? I have your custom v2 bios installed, running Win7. I know that Dell AMD 7970M ain't supported from searching the forums... apparently it detects the temperatures wrongly in Clevo... is it the same with the Dell GTX cards?
  5. prema, i thought u fixed the P150EM CPU throttling while using dGPU in the V2 bios? Because I think I'm stil encountering it on my P150EM rig, with 3610qm, 670M GTX. Running Prime95 + MSI Kombustor, CPU throttled to 2.3GHz. Once I launch Throttlestop, CPU immediately shoots up to 3.1GHz.
  6. Thank u Prema, we <3 u!!!
  7. 3610qm can only have its reference clock overclocked I believe. You might be able to squeeze ~+5% out of it. All other settings such as multipliers are locked.
  8. Running Prema V2 bios T1 on my P150EM. Love the new boot logo. I finally downloaded XTU to try overclocking my 3610qm. Managed to OC my reference clock from 100MHz to a stable 105.2776MHz Some questions here: 1) Even though I OCed, but the benchmarking score in XTU is still the same ~606, how come? 2) Some items like intel graphics tuning and RAM timing changes require a reboot according to XTU... I want to know what happens if I do reboot? Would these changes only be applied once in Windows, or it is applied during BIOS startup itself? If it applies during BIOS and the RAM timing I picked is bad, then it might brick my rig, no? And I'd have to reset the CMOS battery and all that (which I rather not do)? 3) Wasn't the P150EM missing some chip that XTU required to work properly, which the P170EM had? So how does this affect P150EM overclockers at the moment? Cheers!
  9. Apparently the Turbo limit when using dGPU only affects P150EM, the P170EM is unaffected.
  10. Hi Prema, could you add a mod for the P150EM bios to remove the 2GHz CPU throttling when discrete GPU is in use? Cheers, Selphie
  11. Hi Prema, can you briefly explain what does the Configurable TDP to UP-state means? Also, is it possible to add in future a custom .gif file so that anyone can flash their personal custom boot logo?
  12. hi prema, what's the chance of adding RAM timing settings like you did for the W-E/NP6 series BIOS? and is it possible to mod a direct control of vGPU in BIOS, or is that a sole domain of VBIOS mods? thanks for the good work mate!
  13. So this as long as I don't backflash any 1.01.xx or 1.00.xx I'm fine, correct? Also, is it a big issue if I don't flash EC, just BIOS? Asking because my current EC is 1.02.11 but BIOS is 1.02.14, so they aren't always the same numbers.
  14. Hi Ionesyndal, could you post the snapshots please? I'd be interested to mod my P150EM if it's easy enough.
  15. I updated my EC/BIOS last night from 1.00.04 to 1.02.14 yesterday. All appears to be smooth atm. Prima: Curious though, if I update my BIOS to your custom EC/BIOS Prima, am I allowed to revert back to official BIOS and/or earlier version BIOS?
