I do own the sheet battery. The weight it adds is not bad imo. You will be able to tell the difference with it attached. However, it still feels like a typical laptop with nothing attached (like those 15" thinkpads T series). I have not stressed tested the sheet battery, but I remember it shows on Windows 8 as a separate battery, I think it will give you at least 50% more battery time, if not double, compared to the integrated one.

I think Cris is just trying to help others to check their BIOS version, such that they can apply this BIO mod. Thank you again svl7 for your work in helping us. Let us know if you need additional info.

Is the USB created using the HP DOS tool supposed to boot UEFI mode? I tried creating a stick and it would only boot in Legacy mode. Is there any potential concern running the flash tool in Legacy boot mode?

How long did it take you to beat it once? How is the PvP gameplay? I was trying D3 PvP in the PTR, it is completely pointless and with zero objective. However, the trailer for Path of Exile seems to show it being a lot better

I am using the Razer DeathAdder 3500dpi. Prior of this I was using the Gigabyte GM-M6800. The DeathAdder feels a lot smoother in detection (even though I am running in only 1200dpi mode)

I was thinking about getting the Y580 as well at a point, but I figure the weight of the laptop is very important when carrying it around. I went with the Sony Vaio S15. It has less powerful of a video card, but you will definitely appreciate the weight. It will also allow some light gaming such as Dota 2, SC2, D3 etc.

I have to agree with unreal25. Everyone else seems to like it. But I just cant seem to get the hang of it. Played for like half an hour and uninstalled.
