  1. Well, its no fun when you fry something along the way ^^"
  2. I went to local stores and tried to build a pc, the price however is higher compared to online stores, I have no idea what is the best available motherboard from Asus, as for the gpu, I'm not sure evga is the best available brand. Thank you again.
  3. First, I would like to thank you for your efforts and reply. I never thought of it, anyways, Could you please suggest a better mobo, and a cooling equipment? and Why would I need a ssd drive for the os? - - - Updated - - - There is no need to for a 3930K cpu to run video games ^^ and for water cooling, Im very limited with choices here, Im buying my pc from a site, and Im not sure whether I can include the link of it or not. Thank you for your reply.

  5. you have to replace the old pate if it shuts down while playing/watching high def videos, it is probably fried by now, Id recommend getting either Artic silver 5 or IC diamond 7, make sure to place the paste probably. best wishes.
  6. I managed to fix the bitch, however, Im going to sell the card, maybe for 200$ or less. It was a nice experience, and thanks to you Sv17 for trying to help. I found that I fried the screen connector of the mobo =.=" and the connector itself. Im using my laptop as my desktop for now! Epic fail.
  7. I dont get a pic sadly, I have no idea why batch file doesnt work when I put 660m I can send the card for you if you in fact need it for whatever reason.... backlight of my screen is damaged ! what a lucky day for me.... I guess Im going to sell this laptop for parts unless a good progress happens....
  8. the system does post with GTX 660m, but I cant flash it for whatever reason, BUT I can blind flash my old card....
  9. I already did, it does post, but somehow I cant flash the card, I keep pressing y or entering yes, I put my old card, the system is posting now, but the screen brightness is always 0! I have to connect the laptop to an external monitor WHY?! - - - Updated - - - This is probably the most super natural fucked up luck day in my life, everything is breaking apart!.
  10. Yes, I asked the supplier to flash it and he did (vbios from G73JW guide), after that, I tried to flash it again (blind flash) and stills no screen, when I insert my usb flash and my old card; the blind flash process seems to be 100% correct, I have no idea why its not working. Im really sorry sv17 for troubling you. this is the command line in my bat file nvflash -b filename.rom nvflash --save filename2.rom nvflash -5 -6 -A BIOS.rom I found something fishy, when I i put my original card, it nvflash makes a backup file (filename.rom); but it doesnt when I put the new card!. Im sorry to say that the system doesnt post!. my laptop has built in speakers, I could hear bios intro sound, I kept waiting for few mins to hear windows start up tune, but I didnt!, after that, I hit alt+ctr + del and the system rebooted immediately; which means that the card is either not working or bios is fucking around.
  11. This seems like a pointless thread to many users; however, I bought a dell GTX 660m 1gb, and I decided to flash it and install it on a G53JW ( young brother of G73JW), after being in lot of troubles, the card was flashed and the screen stays black, I have no idea why it wouldnt work, and my diagnosis is the card is self-aware and refuse to work.
  12. I Can confirm that this doesnt work ON G53JW MODEL I REPEAT IT DOESNT WORK, I FLASHED IT PROBABLY, PLEASE HELP!
  13. ehh I think this thread might help you out. http://forum.techinferno.com/tech%7Cinferno-vbios-patcher/1770-vbios-patcher-instructions.html also there are tons of threads made by sv17 in the following link. http://forum.techinferno.com/search.php?searchid=227416 I cant find it, could be my imagination...
  14. Hello, sv17 made a guide on how to make/build custom vroms, you can grab tools he loaded in the guide, and then edit the vbios in the first page and change rams value to 2gb, this is my theory and to be honest, I highly doubt this will work. Anyways thank you and I'm sorry if my posts/ideas don't help you.
  15. You are probably going to brick the card, make sure you know how to blind flash or any other method to unbrick it.
  16. I thought this is a dell card not a clevo's one!, dell card is identical in look (blue card), while clevo one doesnt even exist. I bought this one. ALIENWARE M15x/M17x/M18x VGA Graphics Video Card GTX 660M 1GB GDDR5 MXM 3.0b | eBay
  17. Hmm, do you mean software in nand/bios? I know that my question is very retarded, and honestly, I read many threads made by you, and I know how knowledgeable you are. Regards and thank you very much for contributing.
  18. Off-topic Hmm since 660m gtx is kinda outdated, s it possible to flash g73jh bios to g73jw mobo? by the way, thank you.
  19. sw model has a built in chip, you can't upgrade. You can return it.
  20. Does it have to be g73jw? I heard that w stands for nvidia card and h for AMD cards
  21. Hello, I found that clevo cards work on g73jw if flashed probably. I wonder if this is going to work on g53 model. They both have the same sink sesign, but different mobos. I couldn't find any trial or a success /fail story on the internet,Im aware that I need a g53jh model, and Im thinking of a possible way to flash a g53jh bios into a g53jw mobo. please help. Thank you all.
