I used FreeDOS to do the flash (prr.exe and fpt.exe) and surprisingly it worked fine. Also, the latest versions of Rufus already contain FreeDOS so no external files - it will just blank the drive, install freedos and then you can copy over the additional bios / flash files. Main plus of this method is no installs are required. Also, holy crap I am not used to this many frames per second. It's almost uncomfortably smooth.

Excellent job svl7! Works perfectly, now using my 6205. I also looked through the new bios settings, which were pretty neat, but I didn't see anything about the gfx clock - where would we be able to change that? I would recommend Rufus and FreeDOS http://rufus.akeo.ie/ as another option for making bootable USB drives. Also, here's the -i output: Intel ® Flash Programming Tool. svl7, thanks for all the work you're doing! I was wondering if you needed another bios dump... I have a working Win7 x64 setup that runs games just fine on the Y580 that came with a 1080P display and windows 8. It has bios 8.01, but unfortunately I guess the whitelist problem still remains. Do you need a dump of the bios? I have: BIOS 5DCN90WW (v8.01) EC 5DEC90WW (v8.01)
