Hi, is it possible to unlock the Bios for a Barebone (Whitebook) 1763-001 (GT70-2OD equivalent with 780m GTX) ? Attached my Bios Backup.E1763IG6.zip

Can you guys please put a screenshot of the Graphics Configuration section in BIOS ? Just need more details about it to check if i can somehow disable the intel HD4000 if possible. Thanks.

I'm interrested in your problem cuz i got the same, no more ROG logo, the Fast boot option is not there anymore and i also don't see the system information or serial number on the bios even after flashing with the stock 222 or 223. Tried power drain hoping it would generate it after that but still the same. Any idea about how to fix that ? I contacted Asus to ask for a Bios file from them with these features back (told them i lost them after i flashed stock 223) but im not expecting much from them.

Hey guys, i tried following the instructions, when using the Flash.bat file i get : Error 75: ''fparts.txt'' file not found. I already added the into the bat file the directory, but imstill getting this error. BTW: im trying with the 222 Bios. Thanks !

How long is the thermal paste supposed to last for a moderate gamer? I already started experiencing lag every 20sec and i am suspecting cooling issues...

In my opinion, even you can change some parts it won't be really worth it. Assuming that you have to change your CPU (about 450$) and your GPU (at least 350$) each 1-1.5 year at least to keep gaming with good FPS and your motherboard will be limited to certain extent, so better not think to keep upgrading. Still this is my personal opinions.

Quick questions folks, even if it would sound stupid. I'm also interrested in replacing my video card (actually 660m) with a fermi 670m (found it for a good price Vs the 300 more pounds for a G75VW model with this card). Since fermi are more power consuming, would i need to change anything from the power supply side ? Thanks.

I had this problem 2 days after i bough my G75VW, once Bios updated (using winflash) and rebooting= black screen + Mobo kaput. Had to replace it with a new one. The best option is to use easyflash, but i confirm, many people got the same problem when updating this bios.
