Thanks, I am hoping for an early arrival. However, Dell had cancelled my order on the first day and I had to call the next day and talk to some Japanese lady for hours - it took her 15 FULL minutes to understand what I wanted on my nameplate, Darling, L...simple enough, but not for her. Hopefully that won't hinder my ship date too much, I would be devastated haha.

Brian, did the preliminary ship date say somewhere around 5/24 for you? That's what it was when I ordered it and I find it quite strange that it takes over 20 days to build a computer when they have no shortage of parts.

I just ordered mine as well I also added the backpack since I will be needing that for traveling/school often. Newegg has some HyperX 1600mhz 4GB memory that I am about to order four of, too. Total: $3751.95 before EPP discount. I simply cannot wait until it arrives! ...in twenty days:45:

I don't think anyone has an issue with the starting price; like Brian said, the upgrade prices are far too high. The processors are at their usual prices, but the XFire 6970 should not be $900, RAM has always been strangely overpriced ($300 for 1600mhz 8GB - but there is no 16 or 32GB so it will probably be updated), and the Momentus XT Hybrid retails for $30 less than what they offer. Maybe it is me, but one should not say this is normal.

I never understood why they offered red and not silver/white. I don't think I could ever buy a red one because - OCD kicking in here - most of the colors from AlienFX won't match it or maybe me being colorblind adds that effect Not knocking red really, I think it looks great, but I feel it limits the AlienFX.
