Hello Klem, Thank you for the instructions. But with CH341A I will get the same bin file which I flashed in my laptop. I flashed the BIOS using the file I share with this method only. So the dump will be the same file I shared with you. Do I still need to make another dump file??

Hello I have a Lenovo G580 20157. My BIOS was locked and I tried to make bios dump using ftp, but it didn't allow me. Then I tried using CH341A and Pomona Clip. In the process I bricked my BIOS and My laptop was dead for 2 days. Fortunately I was able to reflash my BIOS using a bin file I found on internet and now my laptop is working fine. My BIOS is also unlocked. I need help in whitelist removal, and unlocking advanced menu, if you can help me. I am attaching the bin file I flashed to my BIOS. https://we.tl/t-rtL7Tm8cEF

Hi, Thank you for your reply. What if I downgrade or upgrade my bios to 62CN44WW or 5ECN96WW? Will that be flashable without use of hardware?
