  1. For your information : An i7-820qm can be found around 120$ on ebay 7970M can be found at around 340$. And 2x4 Go RAM will cost around 60$ This will be a bit above your budget but it will be a very strong update.
  2. Your question has already been answered in the previous message svl7 just posted... As for the Radeon prefer a Dell card, Clevo one doesn't support automatic fan control.
  3. Just a quick question. I heard that the new 7970m cards equipped with 019.022 vbios can't be flashed otherwise the card will be bricked. Is it true ?
  4. Small question. Does this bios work as well for Aspire TimelinU m5-581tg ?
  5. Quick question. Which utility do you use to modify the core and memory clock as well as the voltage (Until now I've used modified vbios published by svl7. Thanks by the way !)
  6. Hi there ! Just a small question about the heatpipe. Do you have to flatten it to make the 7970m fit properly like it must be done with 6970M/6990M ? (Issue with coil standing out a bit too much).
  7. Hello, thanks for your answer. That would have been a good solution, but the shipping won't make it worth the try (since i'm living in France). Think I'm going to invest in another 5870 or a 7970M . Thanks though !
  8. Hi there, I made a serious mistake with my MSI GX660 equipped with Radeon Mobility 5870. I did not want to go through DOS mode to flash my 5870 and tried Winflash instead. Problem is, the flash did not success and when I rebooted my notebook, the only thing I had was a black screen with nothing bu the FAN and the Leds running. Is there a way to make a "Clear Cmos" on a VGA graphic card ? Thanks for your answers.
  9. Just a small question. Is the GT60/70 AC adapter compatible with GX660 ?
  10. Hi ! It may be a stupid question, but is the Clevo 7970m for P170EM the same as the one for P150EM ? Thanks !
  11. Normally I would have switched from a Clevo to a Dell Vbios.
