Successfully installed a Sierra MC7455 card in 2570p WWAN. Used the WWANDOS utility and there was no whitelist error. -
Is there an image on the external screen? What type of screen do you use - DreamColor or regular?

M3000M must work on the HP 8740w, especially if the screen is DreamColor. Ordinary screen uses LVDS, but DreamColor uses eDP connection.
