Greetings Gents:
After 6 solid years it appears I need a new screen and possibly eDP chord. I do not have unlocked bios and have this problem:
An, e.g. Amazon I can find a replacement LCD for ~$140 that claims compatibility. Install said screen and PC will work but GPU won't be recognized and it appears the problem is the BIOS is hard-cocked to find the original S/N, something like LG-<something>-(SPF1).
Been looking at Eurocom - but prices are $377 per screen and $99 per eDP cable.
Advice?
