Hey guys,

i would upgrade my graphic card the gt 650m with the gt 750m or gtx 765m from the alienware14.

i know the gt650m is build to the motherboard, but it is possible to replace the chip with the new model?

if not. can i replace the r2 motherboard with the a14 board? will it fit to the case and would the alienfx work normaly?

EDIT: CPU BOOST ON / WIN8 / 314,07 - with GFX BUGs i mean, texture errors.

Wake on wlan is not supported on the m14x R2 (at least on BIOS A10).

You do understand it would drain the battery constantly, right? It would only really make sense if you left it plugged in all the time.

Yes it would plugged in all the time.

The M14x is my "gaming console" its plugged to my HD Beamer and i control it via my smartphone with Bluetooth. So it would be nice, if I come home, to start the notebook via Phone:)

AFAIK the option is there in the bios. I never tried it though and always assumed it only works with LAN

Which bios version do you have Michael? I have the A10 and can only find the bios option "support wake on usb" :/

you can download the drivers already on the alienware support page!

they are the bios and the sata driver from 3.1.2013 to download

very nice, i will buy a curial m4 128 msata, i think it must be enaug for the alienware
