  1. With a +135/500 overclock through the afterburner, you can bring the gt650 to slightly more than gtx660m stock speeds, I personally really havent felt the need to overclock this card beyond this range, as I can run most current games on optimal settings with 2GB of gddr5 memory. The only real difference between the 650m and the 660m is the stock and turbo clock speeds; they are the exact same chipset.
  2. Hi there, If having four gigabytes of ram with a financial constraint is your only requirement, then I'd suggest going with the inspiron 14z . Its a nice and sleek 14" ultrabook with a 128 solid state drive and an third-gen i3 processor (customisable upto an i7). It's made with portability in mind and as a workstation, you really can't go wrong with it. In fact I just bought this laptop for a friend in India who seems very satisfied with it so far.
  3. From my experience, upgrading to win8pro 64bit has made my computing and gaming experience a lot smoother and more responsive in general. It might just be a placebo effect but I've also noticed a slight performance improvement in many games after making the upgrade, however this may also be due to the fact that I upgraded the geforce gt650m video drivers to 310.70 as soon as I transitioned to win8. My biggest pet-peeve however is that I've noticed a universal CPU temperature increase, while I don't know why this is happening, maximum cpu temperatures with turbo boost on (i7 3610QM) have hit almost 85c in farcry3 from about 80c in windows 7. My fan also seems to be running a lot more frequently and vigorously. As I said, this phenomenon remains a mystery to me and I would be grateful if someone could care to offer a possible explanation.
