Thank you for the reply, hoped you would have some knowledge about the amibcp tool ... making 5 usefull posts and wait to get promoted to download the unlocked 16f2 bios is a bit frustrating for someone like me who wants to use the bios rather today as tomorrow, that’s why i looked up what options there are to do it myself

Are the unlocked bios made with amibcp? if so and i want to do it myself, are there restrictions or am i able to change every setting available to “user”?

Will I be able to use my gt683DX in UEFI mode with this unlocked bios? I did read something about CMS being enabled but it is not clear for me if i can install Windows 10 in UEFI mode ... weird my cheap Dell latitude laptop from 2011 already had experimental UEFI while this expensive MSI gamers laptop from 2012 only supports legacy boot ...

hello everyone, bought myself a second hand MSI GT683DX laptop, but after using Google I found there isn't that much info about this laptop on the internet. for that reason I joined techinferno because here i hope to find more info as just the basic info for basic users.
