  1. roughly around 30 games. i don't really buy that many games since i can't play that often nowadays
  2. i've done vent, teamspeak, and mumble before but discord has been my favorite. the latency isn't that bad and quality is decent. the additional features are fun as well
  3. i don't see why not. it's a "free" performance boost of sorts. just make sure to take it slowly and test for stability. as long as there is enough power and thermal headroom, you shouldn't have any issues. you might want to check your power brick. a 180w power brick might not be enough for the power draw of an OC'ed 980m and you might need a 230W power brick
  4. Hello everyone, my name is Anton, from the Philippines. I've been a computer enthusiast for quite some time now but i've really only gotten deep into gaming laptops in the past 4 years or so due to the nature of my job. I find this segment more interesting, especially how manufacturers use new technological advancements in fabrication to create new hardware which are both more powerful and more efficient. I joined this group to able to be able to squeeze out the most out of my current gaming laptop
  5. i'm playing on a 970m OCed by +135 to core, +450 to memory. so roughly in between a stock 970m and a 980m. i'm getting around 45-50fps, with dips to 40 in busy scenes. this is on average settings with motion blur off at 1080p. a 980m should be around 52-56fps on the average. if you're interested, you can check out this video. this is a recording of me doing the first hunt in the game.
  6. hello Klem, i hope you can help me out. i'm currently using a clevo p650re-3 (non-gsync) with a 970m 3GB. i wanted to push the card further as it is handling the +135 to core standard OC pretty easily. i'm looking to have the power limit increased as well as unlocking voltage control and higher OC sliders. your help would be greatly appreciated. attached is the stock BIOS as taken by GPU-Z GM204 stock p650re3.rom
