I tried quiet a few FreeSync (adaptive sync) monitors until i found the right one - here a few impressions of the models I tried (for anyone who's looking for a simliar one maybe interesting). First one was a AOC G2460VQ6, 24", FullHD, 75Hz, TN Panel. I don' know how it got quite a few good reviews, the brightness and colors are terrible - tried to tweak the settings for a few days until i realized it won't work for me so i returned it. Honestly the worst Monitor in terms of picture quality I've seen so far. Next one was a ViewSonic VX2457-mhd, same specs as the previous one. Altogether a solid monitor, felt & looked a bit cheap and the colors a a little "pale" (even after tweaking) guess I would have kept it - but the DP input was DoA so no FreeSync (-_-) so I tried the next one (believe this one was out of stock at the moment). Third one was a Acer XF240Hbmjdpr, same specs as the other ones but a 144Hz panel - one jump higher in terms of price. I really liked the 144Hz in windows while browsing etc. - so smooth! picture quality was good to. In the end i sold it because there as one major problem: When I was gaming and moved it was like i could see the individual pixels way too good and i could't get used to it (don't know how i should describe it better, but the other ones haven't got this odd behaviour). Soo the last one, a LG 23MP68VQ-P 23", FullHD, 75Hz, IPS Panel was the one. Very nice colors (yeah I know IPS vs TN but it was really a step up^^) and fast enough for me in case of response times. And on top I love the slim bezel design. Last but not least it was cheaper than the others and I'm really happy I bought it.

GT60 0NC Ram Slots underneath Keyboard won´t work, any suggestions?

Yes it´s a i5, that explains it - quick and simple Thank you very much Sir! -
Hi everyone, I recently got a GT60 0NC (MS-16F3) Laptop quite cheap and want to upgrade it a little bit (read already a lot in here and I guess I´m good to go). Soo the first thing i wanted to do was upgrade the 8GB Ram (2x 4GB located in the slots under the maintenance flap) with two more sticks - but it seems like the two slots located under the Keyboard doens´t work properly. I tested every possible config. - but when a Stick is installed in one of the keyboard slots, even one of the originally installed sticks, the laptop just won´t boot (display is off/black, no hdd activity and no error beeps). Does anyone experienced something similar and knows what to do? I got a 51x bios file already (intended to flash for the new gpu i was gonna buy, probably a GTX 780m or 870m) - do you think it would help? I wrote a mail to the MSI support and will update this post with the answer when they finally reply. Thank you in advance for your suggestions. Reagards
