  1. Our first game review, Far Cry: Primal is live on the front page. Check it out and while you're at it, visit GreenManGaming.

  2. Send me a PM with a picture of your recent paypal transaction id and I'll get you sorted out. Our system does not see you as a subscriber.
  3. Welcome to T|I @Akaraah, this is the type of first post we wish all our new members would make.
  4. Unfortunately we do not as this is strictly nando's deal. I'm sure he'll deliver but he probably has something going on. I'd hang on a few more days for him to respond.
  5. I'm sure @Tech Inferno Fan will take care of this as soon as he gets a chance.
  6. @Tech Inferno Fan this needs your attention.
  7. We can't do anything about those dead links as they are off site.
  8. @ModJPBfile uploaded to OP as requested. If you plan to create modded files regularly and post them, then please PM me about getting approval as an official "modder" for T|I so you can be granted additional permissions to place the files in our download area.
  9. @ModJPBfeel free to upload the file but we won't allow an external link.
  10. @Mr. Fox and @johnksssmay know about the M17x-R4. I don't know whether the 120 hz screen isn't working because the 120 hz version uses a different motherboard type and/or bios or not. Never used one of these systems so I can't be of much help to you.
  11. Blame Apple + Intel for BGA taking off. Plus the prevalence of thinner electronics in general is driving everyone towards the "thin is trendy" bullshit. It's fine if you want a thin phone but in enthusiast notebooks it doesn't make much sense. For guys like me that have a desktop, carrying a bulky notebook is also counterproductive so in my case an eGPU solution is probably something I'd go for in the future. I could simply toss in one of my desktop cards in the eGPU box and take a thin and light notebook for work w/me and have it double as a potent gaming rig that would hold its own against most dedicated gaming ones. That's one positive aspect that came out of this advancement in technology, TB3 is going to be a game changer.
  12. Message of the day: If you can't download something, then READ THE RULES!

  13. You need to participate which going by your post count you haven't.
  14. In the bios set uefi and make sure the ssd is set as primary. If boot fails, then use diskpart to clone the Hdd image on to the ssd. I wonder if the M2 drive needs some extra bios settings? @Mr. Foxmay know.
  15. @Michel Beaulieu do you have the 120 hz model or 60 hz? Also, try: 1. Disconnect power cable and remove battery. Hold down power button for 30 seconds. 2. Plug the AC adapter in, hold the FN key (keep it pressed) and then press the power button, it will go through a restart and after 5 secs or so you can release the FN key. 3. If the above doesn't work then remove cmos battery, disconnect power cable, remove battery, hold down power button for 30 secs. Let the system sit for a little bit, then replace the cmos battery and AC adapter and start the system. It's been awhile since I messed with an Alienware but the above should be accurate based on what I remember. Additionally, install GPU-Z and turn on logging and see if the GPU is throttling during loads. Also when using that card, disable IGD (integrated graphics) as well. Short of that I'm not really sure, it's been years since I messed with an M17x-R3.

  21. @Kosti81 wel I spoke with @Prema and basically you can try using fpt to dump your system and see if you can re-write w/it. If you can, then you'd need someone's help by having them dump their system and you overwrite it on yours. Here's some instructions for lenovo systems (obviously don't use the lenovo files) that has instructions on how to use fpt:
  22. @Khenglish you missed the shoutbox, this is the next best thing or even better. :) It is limited to T|I Elite, developers, mods and designated groups like contributors etc. Enjoy!
