Hi, I have a Macbook Pro 15 (Mid 2014) with integrated graphics only. I am using a Zotac 1060 and able to boot into windows 10 on external display and installed the graphic driver successfully. However, I realise after about 5 mins, the screen will turn black or sometimes white and hang there. When this occurs i cannot do anything but to force shutdown the machine. Did you have this issue?

[GUIDE] Macbook: enabling Optimus internal LCD mode
Furyking replied to Evo*'s topic in Apple eGPU discussion
I can boot into windows 10 using iGPU on internal display now. However. I realise once the eGPU is in used, the whole windows will hang. The screen will just freeze. For example when i use "dxdiag" to check the display information. Or when i connect the external display. It seems once the eGPU is being switched to or used, it will freeze the whole system. Any idea why? I am using nvidia 1060 on windows 10 on my Macbook Pro 15 inch (mid 2014) model. -
Hi, I have successfully installed the egpu on my Macbook Pro 15 inch (Mid 2014). It can detect both the integrated graphic card and the Nvidia 1060 which i installed. However, as it was loaded in integrated graphic. Once i start "dxdiag", it will load the nvidia 1060. However, it will hang the whole system. I have tried opening a game. It will hang too. It seems to hang once the nvidia 1060 is in use. Anyone can help me on this? Thank you.
