I'm considering to purchase an used Sonnet Echo Express III-D (and to modify the internal PSU to provide the full 300w of power). The only problem is, I would like to have the option of using a hybrid card, and it looks like there wouldn't be enough space to fit a hybrid GPU card into the enclosure. (Photo courtesy of MrHaPPyPiLLs) In the Akitio Node for example, there seems to be ample space for a Hybrid card. I haven't used a hybrid GPU card before, so I wonder if it would be possible to slightly bend the cables/pipes coming out from the card to fit, or are they totally stiff? There seems to be about 3.5 cm (1.5 in) of free space between the card and the top of the case.
