    Read through most pages, and I still have a question or two. Is there a 2.06/07 BIOS with the 660M tweaks that the 8.01 BIOS has? I'm currently on the 2.06 unlocked BIOS, and I've noticed lately that it takes at least 6 seconds or more for the laptop to get past the BIOS splash screen or load the BIOS menu. It used to be able to fly past it in 2 seconds or less. Is this a problem with the BIOS, or could it be a hardware issue?

    I did a clean install of 8 and it was working without any drivers needing to be downloaded. Are you on the RTM?
