I have a 2013 15″ MBPr with GT 750m discrete graphics running Mac OS 10.12.4. I had a successful eGPU build with a GTX 750ti; however, rendering benefits weren’t substantially better in numerous Mac OS apps. Is it possible to enable a RX 460 through eGPU? I was able to get the automate.sh to recognize the RX 460, but after reboot, no RX 460 eGPU. What am I missing? Any help is appreciated! Would you be able to share your steps to get it to work on Mac OS? Thanks.

When can we expect pascal drivers for mac? Is there a link to monitor the progress of the driver releases? I upgraded to a Zotac GTX 1060 from a Windforce GTX 750ti. Works great on my Bootcamp partition, but it won't post on MacOS Sierra partition. If I run the automate-egpu.sh files in the terminal, the program recognizes that I have a GTX 1060 and it says everything is ready to go, but if I reboot the eGPU refuses to post. Need assistance if possible. Thanks! automate-eGPU-master.zip

US$189 AKiTiO Thunder2 PCIe Box (16Gbps-TB2)
HutsonTech replied to Tech Inferno Fan's topic in Enclosures and Adapters
I have successfully built an eGPU using this box and a GTX 750ti. I used a female barrel plug to a positive and negative cables. I was able to solder the cables to the back side of the 750ti gpu of the 6pin PCI-e plug. This was a successful. Now I purchased a GTX 1050ti and it is lacking the 6pin PCI-e plug; however, it does have the holes. My question is, could I solder the two cables there again or are they not connected throughout? Thanks.
