  1. Hi guys, I am new to the forum and to the eGPU setup process. I am having some difficulties in getting my setup to work. I would appreciate any help offered by this amazing community My hardware includes: Akitio Thunder2 Thunderbolt to PCIe box Inno3D GTX970 GPU Antec TruePower 650 power supply PCIe 16x Riser (Not powered) My setup is as follows: My PSU is connected to my GPU's 2 6pin connectors, as well as to the Thunder2 box via the barrel plug (via another PCIe 6-pin cable from my PSU) I've tried to use the original Thunder2 power supply to power the Thunder2 instead of from the separate PSU as well A DisplayPort cable connects my GPU to my external 4k monitor The included thunderbolt cable from the Thunder2 is used to connect my Thunder2 to my iMac (Late 2012) I've tried all the possible combinations of the different thunderbolt ports on the box and my iMac I've even tried it with my MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) The PCIe 16x raiser connects the GPU to the Thunder2 In macOS (10.12 Sierra), I hot-plugged my thunder2 to my Mac (with the PSU on). Then, I tried to use the automated script in an attempt to install drivers for my GPU (https://github.com/goalque/automate-eGPU). However, I got the following error message: In Windows 10 (Bootcamp), I turned on my PSU, plugged in everything before booting, but Windows won't detect my GPU, i.e. I cannot see my GPU in device manager (only the built int GTX 675MX is there). In both cases, the Thunder2's blue and green lights both are on when i boot into both OS, and the GPU's fan spin at full speed. I would really appreciate it if anyone can offer any help for me! Can't wait to enjoy the benefits of a eGPU. Thank you all so much in advance
