  1. Just want to update that Mac mini 2014 i5 2.6GHz on 10.12.3 is able to sleep and wake without any issue. Previously it was able to sleep but unable to wake up.
  2. Just to share that I had error 43 for my Windows 10, GTX 1050Ti until I use the Nvidia version 375.63 which comes with the Palit CD.
  3. Hi, Do you need an external monitor to be able to use the eGPU? Does it work on its own iMac built-in internal display? For both Win 10 and OSX? Thanks
  4. Has anyone tried that? Will eGPU be able to take over the function of an iMac 27" 2011 or later (with Thunderbolt) with a faulty video card?

  6. Just setup my Akitio Thunder2 with - EVGA 750Ti SC (2GB) - Mac mini 2014 base edition (1.4GHz) running 10.11.6. - Dell DA-2 (3x12V and 3xGround to Barrel connector) Akitio is powered by barrel input so far. No other power input. Able to boot up nicely so far to desktop. No hard gaming, just youtube and the usual word processing/web surfing. Fan noise is noticeable (when compared to plugging it in Mac Pro). Akitio is able to go to sleep and wake up successfully (sleep time only tested for a few seconds). Updated 3 Oct: As expected, mac mini is unable to wake up after sleeping for some time. I am expecting it to crash soon when I start playing DOTA2.
  7. Hi Lucas, Can you confirm my understanding that a 12V-10a with suitable 5.5 x 2.5mm barrel plug can replace Akitio's to provide higher power needed for 750ti? I intend to have Akitio Thunder2 setup with just a simple 12V-10A PSU to power up my EVGA 750ti (no separate 6pin needed). All power to be drawn from the PCI-E slot in akitio. Thanks.
