  1. Can you provide some information on how you added the thermal sensor please? Thanks
  2. Do you mind sharing what other parts you ordered? I have most of the parts to setup a eGPU with my macbook pro but i'm still waiting for my graphics card to arrive to see if I can actually get it working! Worse come worse I will also build a seperate PC.
  3. Can you provide more details about how the 'single power plug' is setup as shown in the second photo of the Akito?
  4. Very neat! The power button on the front of the Akito is inspired. Being a total noob tyying to get my head around all this stuff, I don't understand the exact technical details of how you hooked it all up to the Dell power supply but it looks like you did a great job. How is the stability of it under windows 10?
  5. I am also considering using a GTX 970 with my mac mini 2012. Are you finding it running ok using the power supply that came with the Akito? Most of the other guides recommend power to be from the same power supply used for the card using some kind of barrel connector?
  6. Hi. Could you please run an Octane Render Benchmark test? : https://render.otoy.com/octanebench/ I am trying to decide between the GTX 1060 6GB and a GTX 970 4TB. If the render times are not too different I would opt for the 6GB as it would allow for larger scenes to be loaded. Would really help me make a choice! Thanks
  7. Looks great! I hope your able to write up a more detailed description of how you did it soon. I also have a mac-mini and perhaps foolishly ordered the Akito Thunder 2 from France several days ago after having spent a day reading through the forums and thinking it wouldn't be too complex a task. But upon further research today I reaslise that setting up and powering the device with a graphics card is probably more complicated than I thought and perhaps beyond my abilities without clear instructions. The descriptions I have read in the forums already about power supply have me quite flummoxed!
