I want to get an egpu setup going on my F555LA, but I have a few questions and one major roadblock. First, the roadblock. I have no idea where the wifi card is inside the laptop, and therefore can't get to the mPCIe port the adapter needs. Also annoying is the fact that in order to open it up you have to remove the keyboard, but that isn't to big of an issue though because I won't be using it or the track pad when it's hooked up. Questions: Has anyone set up an eGPU on this model or any ASUS laptops? Which adapter should I get? Which GPU should I get? Are eGPU's reliable? Laptop's specs for those who need to know.
