Hello To complete my precedent post, I searched for hours on internet for alternative quiet fans but not found anithing up to now. On the same subject, if it is possible to monitor the fan speed what are the maximum CPU and GPU we can accept during an intensive use of the computer (3 or 4 hours of game for example). Hello, I 'd like to know if someone as modded the fan so that it's less noisy. I have got a MS-1727 mainboard (Medion X7811) which is more and less the same that the one of the MSI GX740. What I have read on different forums is that the fan is monitored by an EC which doesn't seem to be the same (or which is not programmed the same) depending on the sensitive board (wifi, bluetooth, Explorer and so on) of the computer. Is that true ? Is there another way to modify the fan behavior, successfully tested by someone ? Thanks in advance. Hello, Does somebody have a comprehensive list of the RAM that are compatible with the MSI GX740 ? With the unlocked bios mentionned above, what are the fastest ones that can be used (Frequencies and timings) ? It seems to be that the max amount of RAM is 8GB. Is that true ? Are there limitations due to the chipset or due to the original MSI Bios ?
