Lenovo Y410p/Y510p BIOS mod to enable Nvidia eGPU support

Has someone connected a flexible pci-e extension cable with the ultrabay adapter? having the egpu on the right side don't provide much confidence, could be easily unplugged by accident, which may damage it. -
Lenovo Y410p/Y510p BIOS mod to enable Nvidia eGPU support

Where and how can I purchase the Ultrabay adapter? Laptop is Y510P with dual 755m, planning to go for 1070Ti. Does the modded bios contain any updated CPU microcode for spectre/meltdown ? Also, will there be a way to use the laptop's LCD display with this mod? (If no - why?). -
Because of security? I'm already on 3.08 not-modded, and you are correct - we don't know if there will be a new bios for Y510p, if they skip it then we will have to find a way to mod 3.08 to include the new microcode fixes for spectre/meltdown .....

I decided to wait for the latest bios which will supposedly fix spectre/meltdown, then wait for a modded version of that bios before flashing..

I think security is important, even if it comes at a cost of slowing down the PC. I also don't know if I should trust a modded bios, because I have no way of knowing how and what it's modified, though I do have to get a new wlan card because the stock one is fried, I'm forced to use an external one... At least with a modded bios I can get an AC one. Also, Intel confirmed that newer CPUs are affected too...

Guys what do you think about the spectre/meltdown update that will arrive shortly from intel? Will it be a bios update or something else (meaning - so I flash my 3.08 stock to 3.05 modded, or do I wait) ?

Hello, Is there any chance for a modded bios of this version? BIOS Version 74CN47WW(V3.08) System BIOS Date 12/06/05 Has nobody provided this version to the op?
