You'll want to be much more careful while adjusting voltage values, as these have a vastly greater impact on heat output, stability, and longevity of your GPU. The left slider under the voltage represents the minimum voltage on low power states, while the right one represents the maximum allowed voltage. To be safe, you should not exceed 0.900v-0.920v on a lower spec laptop GPU such as yours.

Those options will be under the Voltage Table and Power Table headers in the program. Increase your OC until you reach the point where temperatures and/or stability become worse than what you feel comfortable with. Increase power limit as needed. Don't increase voltage unless you have to, as this will greatly increase heat buildup. Depending on your GPU's ASIC quality, increasing voltage may be unavoidable. Open GPU-Z and right click the top bar of the program window, there should be an option called Read ASIC Quality. Higher values mean the GPU is not as "leaky" as those having lower values, which means you won't need to increase the voltage for a high ASIC GPU as much as you would for a lower value GPU. This is the only situation where ASIC quality matters. It's irrelevant for overall performance, so don't be upset if your GPU has a lower ASIC value (65% or less).

The only real way to be able to change power limit and voltage is to mod the VBIOS. If you haven't already, I recommend repasting the GPU as well as the CPU.

I didn't play much of NV, but the big mods for me in FO3 were FWE and Unified HUD, along with assorted visual mods. A good ENB for FO3 is Apocalyptica ENB. I love the desaturated look it gives to the game. Fits the post-apocalyptic theme perfectly.

Hey all. I've joined this community to hopefully learn more about overclocking and other advanced concepts. Also have a Lenovo Y510P that runs as hot as the surface of the sun when playing any game, so the modded VBIOS wouldn't hurt to have as well And finally, wouldn't mind some advice on what's going on with my main rig.
