  1. Where did you find the link between DM and ID 10DE 1617 ? Why not ZM ? If just tried both - without accepting the flash - and seems to be compatible too.
  2. Thanks a lot ! Where did you get the info about this ? I've done throught the Internet two times (that's long :p) and didn't find information about a such thing The more i understood, the better it will be in case of failure
  3. Hi ! The vBios - DM - is not designed for my system on the top of the list, P17xEM is not listed (https://biosmods.wordpress.com/gtx9-g/) I fear bricking the card with a wrong vBios Do you know the differences between ZM & DM ?
  4. Solved: How to ? 1) Uninstall Nvidia drivers. 2) Install card 3) flash with the vBios & restart 4) download latest Nvida drivers and use the INF from the 353.12 Drivers (win 7 x64 in my case) 5) Profit ! ---- Hi All, I just get the "new" GeForce GTX 980M 8GB for my old P170EM (Clevo) and cannot flash the non G-Sync vBios: here is the message for the flash. Checking with the with G-sync ones, it "seems" to be compatible (allowed to flash) but I assume that my P170EM does not have any gsync. And bricking the card isn't... very nice. i would like to be able to "see" the card in the PremaMod Bios, the card is working on windows with a little inf tweak. Any idea about what I should do or have misunderstood ? Thanks a lot in advance for any advices/help ! Attached: Current vBios GM204.rom

  6. Hello everyone, I'm looking for a Geforce 680M - 4GB - vBios update to get it a bit faster. Unfortunately there is only for 675M, do you know where I can find it ? Google is quite heavy and I don't want to use an unsafe -untested- vBios Thanks !
  7. Glad to hear it, Thanks a lot everyone for your help !
  8. One question regarding the VBios, it's mandatory to make the laptop "seeing" the card but does it decrease the card performance to make it compatible ?
  9. Hi All, I met some issue by finding basic information, I have a P170EM (Clevo) with a Geforce 680M. Using Premamods since 3Y (thanks for the EUFI Boot Mr Prema !) I would like to change the 680M to a 980M. People said A "you just have to get a prema bios, remove nvidia drivers, install the card, install nvidia drivers" B "you have to get a prema bios, remove nvidia drivers, install the card, flash it with the vBios and install nvidia drivers." C " you have to flash vBios on the card from another laptop (which already get the card set) and flash your laptop with a prema bios, remove nvidia drivers , put the pre-flashed card in and reinstall nvidia drivers". D "Purchase a new laptop." Who's rights ? I'm a bit lost... Thanks !
