  1. It didn't happen to me due to the use of diodes that prevent the current from going to the wrong direction. The warning goes only to those who combine two PSUs without two diodes (that's all you need).
  2. A warning to those who consider combining two PSUs without the use of a diode. Our PSUs are Switched-mode Power Supply Units (SMPS) and unless you have two of them with the exact same voltage output, then you gonna end up messing with the duty cycle of the PSU with the lower voltage output and eventually burn it. Please proceed with caution and at your own risk. More info about SMPS here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Switched-mode_power_supply
  3. Ahh this video clip... Pan's Labyrinth... is it just me that wanted this annoying little girl die in the end instead of those small flying creatures?
  4. LOL man what an epic fail, I am crying from laughter... seriously out of all those people, no-one could see that something was wrong with those names? Ho Lee Fuk Trolling level: legendary
  5. Very nice score for a single PSU! My last run of 3DMark 11 was with the 12.11 drivers... I am tempted to run it again with the latest ones... (though someone has to beat that old score fist )
  6. LOL and I wonder why... Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  7. Hehe yeah that was the psu tripping Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  8. I think the best way to compare them is completely stock, with only the absolutely necessary drivers installed
  9. Is that with the same amount of processes and services running in the background? Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  10. Yeah I did a clean windows installation, now on 13.6 drivers, the vbios is the one attached at the first post, BIOS A10 official as well. I don't know what brand the cards are though...
  11. Fortunately not, I get random BSOD but not under load, they are while idling or with chrome in websites with flash content and that's only with Windows 8. Under Windows 7 the system was rock stable, no matter the load. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  12. Yeah what Nospheratu said and also also if you increase TDP and TDC too much the system will shut down due to either overheating (or the mobo won't be able to handle the excess current draw)
  13. You can try the registry mod and it will give you quite a nice boost, if you have problems with throttle stop you might want to describe the situation here and probably find a solution
  14. Graphs are always misleading... Even a 2% increase could be displayed as 100% LOL
  15. I think you card is dead... (those vertical gray stripes are a bad sign...)
  16. My "Mandarin" is not that great either but I appreciate the pictures!
  17. Plus you could hold a light bulb in your hand and it would glow like a candle. LOL Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 2
  18. That's cool, what kind of metal did you use for that?
