why avid GFE?

i would also like to know if 364.72 is safe on windows 10. i am currently running the older 352.84 peg mod but have heard rumors of the newer drives nvidia put out burning out machines. just wondering why should we avoid gfe?

Give you guys a update on how things have been on v364.72 with win 10 peg with prima v2 oc on aw17 r1 with gtx970m from woodz. So far i have not noticed any throttling and i don't have a dead card yet so that's good. temps are stable at full load. a side note anyone have a part number or source for the cpu fan i think mines starting to go.

No i disabled optimus sure its great for reduced power when you don't need it but the thing is nothing but a headache i run it in peg mode. iv had 4 laptops with optimus and they have all been nothing but a headache especialy with some older games. dedicated all the way for me. *Edit* just loaded the new drivers going to give em a good workout.

Hi i need a driver and mod file for my GTX970 on a aw17 R1 running win 10. i already tried stock drivers and got the hardware not detected error. here is my hardware id. I am sorry for my bad spelling trying to do too many things at once. i have tried stock drivers, the 361.43 drivers and i get the "not compatible hardware error. My hardware id is the 05ad1028&REV_A1. i am running windows 10 and i need a modded driver if i am correct and am a bit lost at what one i need.

Im currently working on my aw 17 r1 under latest version of windows 10 with a gtx 860. i have a gtx 970 6gig from woodz. im running the stock a14 bios and have disabled fast boot legacy and am in a pure uefi environment with my os dive formatted gpt. after doing all this and reading threw the forums my brain is a bit burnt and am unsure of my next step and the drivers and mod file i need if any. some help would be awesome.
