I've bought 32GB of this RAM for this model of laptop, however, on speculatively fitting it the laptop failed to boot, or, there was a black screen on the internal display anyway. What I'm wondering is whether it's worth updating to the latest stock firmware, I'm on 1.03.5, or whether I'd have a much better bet with Prema Mod? I've previously had Prema Mod on this laptop, but I flashed back to stock before sending the laptop back for a screen warranty repair.
