Hi, I recently stumbled on a website and found a GTX 980m priced for about 700$ and I was thinking If I should get it to put into my Clevoo P150EM (i7 3630qm). Another option for me is to build a desktop from scratch. I would like to be able to player the latest games on high-ultra settings for the next 2 years, I also only have about 1000$ to spend. Which option should I go with?

You could try running compatibility mode. I just installed it on Windows 10 and it runs fine without a problem, however when I installed it on Windows 8 there was some trouble. If you ran Fallout 3 on a previous verison of Windows, go into your fallout 3 game directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3 goty) and right click fallout launcher and create a short cut to desktop.

Hello my name is Brandon! I have a Clevo p150em, I've had the laptop since December 2012, it comes equipped with a Nvidia GTX 675MX and a Intel i7 3630qm (it gets the job done for the most part). I've seen the best of days with this laptop and the worst of days. I have had a lot of BSOD when I first got this laptop but now its fixed. I am looking into getting a desktop by the end of this year as my laptop is starting to becoming dated ( I want to be able to run Fallout 4 at max settings). I am a gamer at heart, my favorite game series being DOTA 2 and Fallout.

I recommend the cooler master ergostand 3, it doesnt reduce cpu and gpu temps a whole lot but it cools it just enough so that over long periods of gaming I have stable temps.
