I really do hate you guys, I don't post much but I'm here creeping most days and you got me all exciting for this m18x...well my beast has just been ordered! So just to let you all know now, I'm team killing all of you guys!

Budget: ~$1200 Screen Size: 15in Traveling notebook would like great superb never run out of battery life Dual core or even quad core would be good 4-6gig ram no optical drive needed 250gig+ hdd I don't need a gaming laptop, right now I have a netbook but the screen is just too small for me.

Sweet, I'm probably going through with this purchase. I was going to get the m17x but for some reason on the Canadian website they don't have the 6970 card in the configuration.

Wonder what kind of price point the machine will be coming out at. In Canada m17x R3 base is at 1599, while with the 3d screen base is 2299.

I'm going back and forth on what I want for a desktop replacement - I do quite a bit of traveling and I feel that m17x might be too large, but would m14x be large enough!! Oh The Insanity!
