My recommendation on this topic, though it requires research, is to try to build a laptop yourself, or get an older gen that doesn't use UEFI, and mod that up, you'd be surprised how much more money can be saved, plus the performance older hardware is truly capable of. ANYTHING with UEFI has drawbacks, mainly being the inability to mod one's own Bios...sad...

PCIe 2.0 works with this, how could this tech be integrated into an LGA1366 socket board, is it possible? LGA1366 offers enough performance to handle thunderbolt tech... - - - Updated - - - I have seen some LGA1366 based cpu's getting 12000 and more on passmark, putting them in line with skylake 6700k's... - - - Updated - - - 8gb of ram? That's not much these days...

prr, the original isn't stable, what improvements are there with prr2, it is more compatible with a wider variety of chipsets? Also, if I am working on a board that uses an AMD chipset, this won't work with AMD at all, correct, why is that? Are UEFI's exclusive to Intel, since Intel created it in response to Microsoft's requirement?
