  1. You have to copy BIOS files on a USB with MS-DOS start (made it with Rufus, free). Them restart your machine and you have 2 possibilities: If you use UEFI, psuh F2 and start on BIOS, disable UEFI and Save And Restart. Now, using UEFI or not, select F7 (or F9 or F10, depending machine) t select boot options. Select USB device. When System Comand Promt windows appears write step1. After automatic restart F7 again to start with USB, and write step2. Finally go to into BIOS (F2), load BIOS Default (F3), activate UEFI if you use it, Save and Restart and go into Windows. Obviously it doesn't work from WIndows.
  2. THX. I'll download and install again asap Edit: Installed. Now I can configure last SSD. Than You again, Prema!!!
  3. Hi Prema, There are a little bug on P17xSMA_311_39_PM_v2.rar On first screen I can see all disk. I have 2 SATA SSD disk (Channels 0 & 1), and empty channel (2), Blue-Ray/DVD (Channel 3), and another 2 mSATA SSD disk (on Channels 4 & 5) But on Advanced configuration of SATA I changed from HDD to SSD Channels 0,1, 4 and ¿where is 5? There are only 5 channel, 0 to 4, so I can't modify last SSD. If you need any screen I can take some photos so you can see this bug. Regards
  4. That mean that I don't have to do step 1, go to step 2 and don't install the file ME? Thanks Prema, of course. This is impossible without your help.
  5. On http://forum.techinferno.com/clevo/3119-%5Bbios-vbios-mods%5D-prema-mod-stock.html I finded my Prema MOD Bios: P17xSMA_311_39_PM_v2.rar But just over it I read: HASWELL: DO NOT UPDATE THE ME FIRMWARE BEYOND v9.0 IF YOU WANT TO KEEP USING BCLK OC! I have a Haswell CPU (i7 M4910 MQ) but I don't understand what the warning meaning. Can't I use this mod version? Standar Bios is poor and I very limited with it. Can Anybody explain it to me? Thks
  6. I have a P170SM_A with a NV GeForce 870M and it's working wthout problem on W10. When I installed RTM version, Windows shows cards as generic. When I installed inf chipset file, after restart, one of cards has Intel HD drivers. And them I installed last drivers from NVidia and works fine. Be careful because W8 and W8.1 drivers aren't full compatibles with W10 anytimes. So if W10 detects your Realtek Ethernet or your WiFi Killer, the best that you can do is not intall manufacture drivers. or finally you obtain a BSOD for a driver error.
  7. My P170SM-A has 2 SSD disks and 2 MSATA SSD disks. All of them are the same model of Samsung with same capacity. Can I made a raid 0 with 4 disks or it's better 2 raids of 2 disks each? I have better test with a unique raid of 4 disks but I have a few problems with drivers and Windows 10. After made 2 raids and reinstall I have same problems so I believe that problems comes with 8.1 drivers that don't work on Win 10. Now I want to put a mod BIOS and reinstall, but I have to choose between 2 RAIDs of 2 Disks or 1 RAID of 4 Disk. Anybody has a tested opinion? About moded BIOS, for a P170SM-A wich version do you recomended me? Thanks
  8. I only can say thank you. Excellent work with all this BIOS. I hope improve my P170SM-A with a mod BIOS. Retail BIOS by Clevo is ver simple, only control UEFI and RAID. When I finded this site I can believe that. Really amazing.
  9. Thank You for your explanation, Looking at BIOS and invoice finally I discovered thats a P170SM-A. Other Data: - CPU i7-4910MQ $ç@2.90GHz - NVidia GeForce 870M 6GB - BIOS 1.03.11 - KBCI/EC Firmware 1.03.09 - Memory 32GB DDR3L 1600Mhz HyperX Impact - 2x mSATA SAMSUNG EVO 500GB SSD - 2 500GB Samsung EVO - GraBador DVD - WiFi Bigfoot Killer-N 1202 I'm sorry, my Bios is very basic, There aren't chpset section or Performance Tunning. I suppose that a mod Bios has possibilities for change that, so I'll wait for my 5 post and them I tryed it.
  10. Hi. I have a Clevo P170SM (*) with 32GB Rom and 4 Samsung 850 EVO SSD Disk (500GB each). My really problem is that I don't Know if is a P170SM or a P170SM-A. Under machine I read model: P170SM / Product Code: P170SM-A. I update BIOS from ClevoCenter.com and now I have problems of BSD. I have a RAID of 4 disk and I tested disk, memory,... but I can solve this problem. I think that perhaps I use an incorrect BIOS. Which BIOS do you think I must use? A Mod BIOS? P170SM or P170SM-A? I'm really desperate.
