  1. disable sli. remove ultrabay card. boot to windows. install intell driver. now you will have hd4600 video card from intel.... go to settings to be sure its runs all the time ... not the auto mode .... now you will have another hour for battery operated use .... good luck.
  2. first .... be sure run with ac adapter.... Y510p not working properly on battery .... second .... check the temperature of cpu and gpu ... be sure to enable 750m or 755m or sli option ....
  3. Overall Lenovo y510p great laptop. only know issues ... touchpad ..... use the wireless mouse wi fi - try different drivers .... or good wi fi dongle via usb sli mode ... overheating .... its very common for ALL gaming notebooks .... even with cooling pads other than that ... great laptop ... for its money ....
  4. 7260AC card with Lenovo's FRU on Amazon most of them are fake ... just read comments on Amazon My friend bought Lenovo supported 7260 dual band 45 $ ... and I bought regular version 30$... we tried both on mine and his y510p ... with same results both card stock on startup due whitelist thanks to Lenovo ... so your option to use bios mod or go with usb stick .... if you really want good AC wi fi adapter .....
