  1. Hello, all! I've been planning on snagging myself a PE4L + eGPU setup for a while now, and I'm kind of stuck. I've tried to search for some answers, to no avail, so I'm really sorry if this turns out to be a duplicate question. I'm looking at getting myself a ~200$-ish GeForce card. Of the cards I've been looking at, (Mainly the 960, but some of the 770 deals I've seen are tempting too...), all feature either 2 or 4 gigabytes of dedicated RAM. My question is, for 1600x900 (Laptop's internal resolution), or possibly 1080p, is going for 4gb of RAM worthwhile? I ask this particularly because I was wondering if the extra room would help alleviate some of the bandwidth bottleneck caused by using a PE4L by allowing more resources to be kept in memory. (I will in all likelihood be using a 1x 2.0 Optimus connection.) Other question, I suppose, would be if the 960 really has any PE4L-applicable advantage over the 770? All other things being equal, it looks like the 770 tends to benchmark a tad higher in desktops, and for less money in some cases. (Right now I'm staring at a deal on a 2GB 770 for 180$ + shipping.) Thank you in advance for your help! And thanks to the community in general for maintaining such a great pool of eGPU resources here! EDIT: Either I accidentally posted in this thread instead of making a new one like I tried to do, (in which case I facepalm and apologise), or I was supposed to post here instead of doing that and had my post moved. (In which case I also facepalm and apologise.)
