  1. Wish I could give you and update Robbo. One month on and I'm still waiting for the new power brick to find it's way to my house from China
  2. Thanks Prema. Nice results all round and exceeding the "Gaming PC (Oculus Rift spec)" in all 3 Firestrikes even if it's only a just in the last two cases. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-4720HQ,Clevo P65_P67SG powered by PremaMod.com (normal) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-4720HQ,Clevo P65_P67SG powered by PremaMod.com (extreme) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-4720HQ,Clevo P65_P67SG powered by PremaMod.com (ultra) Overclocks are 170MHz on the core 275MHz on the memory with no increase in voltage. My PSU brick is the limitation now and my power meter is showing 180W draw on it so I have ordered a 330w one and an adapter. Appreciate your work :-) -Wastey
  3. Do I need this inf file for a P650SG? Have been going back through the thread making sure I have everything in place to do some overclocking but I cant seem to increase voltages, only core and mem. -Wastey
  4. Fair call. I just fired it up and again and low and behold I need to RTFM more
  5. I have just flashed my BIOS and vBIOS with Prema's mod so I'll let you know how things go. Your core clock and mem speeds are stock so not sure where you got the information that it was underclocked from? You can download Prema's mods from his website. The exact location for the P6xxSG/NP86x2 download is here. You don't need 5 post count on these forums. -Wastey
  6. Thanks again Prema. Took me a bit to find out what you exactly meant by "Disable the NVIDIA driver" as I uninstalled the NVIDIA drivers and restarted but that didn't rectify the issue, so I did some searching around the forums and from this post I worked out that I needed to disable the GTX 980M in the device manager, flash the card with your vBIOS update.bat, reboot and re-enable the GTX 980M in the device manager. All seems to be working, now to test some overclocking. Just a suggestion, maybe you could put that you may need to disable the graphics card in the device manager, flash the card, reboot then re-enable the graphics card in case the device is not found with the iGPU issue, such that I had. Have sent you a donation too via PayPal. Thanks for your work. -Wastey
  7. I updated the BIOS fine, I like the boot menu btw and updated the vBIOS. Just a question about the vBIOS, when I ran the update.bat in Windows a DOS box flashed up very quickly then disappeared. How can I verify that the updated vBIOS is in place? Appreciate the help.
  8. Just stumbled upon these forums and am interested in updating my BIOS and vBIOS to your modded BIOS to squeeze some extra performance from my Metabox P650SG (Australian reseller). I have updated the BIOS to V1.03.07 and the EC to V1.03.04 using a supplied package from my reseller to stabilize the Bluetooth/Killer NIC issues (I have the reseller branded BIOS too if anyone wants), and updated the Hotkey software to the latest, since this my P650SG is working as expected and stable. My question is do I use your BIOS package P6xxSG_33_34_PM_v1 dated 3rd January 2015 and update the BIOS and vBIOS as per the instructions over the top of the reseller versions I have now? Most importantly will this effect the stability I am now seeing? Should I be downgrading to V1.03.03PM v1 for the BIOS? Your EC version appears to be the same as what I have now. Thanks in advance for your help.
