  1. so far my egpu is stable whenever im playing games but when I dont play and just browse say for about 30 mins, its like my egpu disconnects. even if its still powered up. feels like it goes into idle mode or sleep mode. I would have to reboot for it to work again

  11. Hi, My first take on using an EGPU. Just wanted to play witcher 3 so bad. My laptop: - Lenovo Y410P - i7 4700MQ 2.4Ghz - 8GB RAM - Geforce GT 750M dGPU, HD4600 iGPU - Windows 8.1 My eGPU: - Geforce GTX 970 Asus turbo - PE4C v2.1a - Antec 450W PSU Configuration: Just flashed my bios with the modded 3.05 version by svl7 to remove whitelisting. Here are the steps I have taken: - Dont plug the PE4C to your laptop yet - Boot windows - Disable the dGPU (GT750M in my case) - Uninstal the drivers - Go to BIOS, set video config to use iGPU only - Shutdown, plug in the PE4C and then boot windows - Once windows is booted, install the nvidia drivers - Reboot - Enjoy your new EGPU Here are some pics of my laptop Im still waiting for the pcie extenders so i can clean up the case (see cables sticking out) Pics from windows Benchmarks heres my result using internal display
  12. my PE4C egpu just arrived from amazon I noticed that the battery is hanging out. Im not sure if this is how its built but I feel like its missing a solder or something. Cant test right now as I am still waiting for my GPU. appreciate the help thanks Imgur

I mean the steps, cant find any info on how to do it. thanks!
  14. hi. just need to confirm if 1.30 will remove whitelisting of lenovo y410p? Planning on purchasing this software since I just got my PE4C dock and mount a 970 on it. I dont want to apply any bios mod since i have version 3.07 which I think doesnt have a mod yet. thank you
  15. has anyone tried the wifi slot with their y510p?
