so i open the cables again and solder them now first.then i covered them one by one with electrical tape after that i cover its one with wire shrink wrap and again all the way with electrical tape.maybe its safer now or not?

guys today i received the 240watt dell psu.to mod it i just cut the jack from 180watt psu and then one from 240watt then i joined the 2 cables each one with electrical tape and for last thing i used electrical tape again again over them.also dell psu had a 3rd smaller wire that i just cut it and cover it with tape again connected nowhere.is that good or i have a problem? the laptop works fine both overclocked gpu and cpu for some tests but i think i did it the bad way...what can i do now?order new 180watt psu and try again?

OMG!!it worked my man!!rly thx!!! my voltage is 1.050v now!!!i can even go 1.070v without the need of flashing overvolt vbios!!! here is a vantage run at 980 core 1400 memory!!my temps are little high cuz i have 28 celsius in the room!!!

i added overdrive option but now i cant find these settings i read at the guide. Options/Profiles/Profiles Manager where are they??

this will enable the xml profile even the overdrive option is missing??mine 7970m has voltage 0.975v.even if i flashed the overvolt vbios 1.075v it stays at 0.975v.how is that possible??

i just installed the modded vbios(1.075v) and my card is still in 0.975v in 3d mode...i checked this with gpu shark and cpuid hwmonitor.pls help!!!!

hi guys!!im new to this forum!!(svl7 helped me sometimes in notebookreview forum)yesterday i installed mine 7970m ton my HM laptop and everything works great expect the vbios voltage is 0.975.is it possible to flash 1.05v bios?about overclock why overdrive settings are missing from ccc?thx and congratulations for the hard work!!! edit:svl7 is it possible to make a bios with 1.05v for my card?thx my friend!
