Hi guys, Does anyone have a copy or latest version of a bios mod & Video Bios Mod for P650SE I know its a couple of years old now but I still need it as I just had mobo replaced under warranty. The Prema mod seems to have disappeared? What happened to Prema? Regards Aussie280

Hi Prema I have installed V1 Prema-mod for P650SE. I am running with 16BG 2133mhtz ram. I go into Bios but apart from F3 load there doesn't seem to be anything I can tune - its very dumbed down. Do I have the right BIOS? it states "Version 2.17.1246 copyright American Megatrends" Bios revision is 1.03xxx I can't seem to tell at the BIOS level what speed my RAM is - it just shows size not speed. Also since doing the upgrade if anything my game speeds FPS have dropped by 20 FPS. This is really odd and unexpected. Regards Aussie280

OK thanks for that...sorry about the dumb question. As I am still waiting for delivery of my P650se I haven't been able to view what's included in the Premamod. Is V1 still the current Bios version?

Hi Prema, You have been asked before and you said it was coming a few months ago so just asking for an update. Are you still intending to do the vBios mod for the 3GB-GTX970M (specifically for the P650se)

Cooling PAds - Which one for OC?
aussie280 replied to aussie280's topic in General Notebook Discussions
Thats a good recommendation but if you turn the P650se upside down you will notice air intakes at various loca5ions that are not central. So for me I think maybe a dual fan setup might work better. Has anyone used the AVANTEK CP172 15' cooling pad? -
Hi guys I hope this is the right place to post this thread. I have an Clevo P650SE coming shortly and was wondering if cooling pads are worth the money? Obviously some better than others and some will sound like a plane taking off I'm sure. What are your recommendations? Maybe we could have "The Rolls Royce" - money no objection and " The Mizer" Budget brand say under $50 and finally "WoTha" one to stay away from at all costs - breaks/poor fans (speed/noise). All help appreciated -

Hi guys, My Clevo arrives shortly - config below. What do you recommend I should do first in setting it up correctly and getting the most out of the machine - OC - I don't want to fry her but if it's fairly safe to increase to GTX980 speed than happy days. If I OC do you recommend a cool pad? Config: P650SE - Diamond compound paste applied to processor & GPU O/S windows 7 Pro (loading on SSD) RAM 16GB DDR3 1866 Mhz (2x8GB) No optical drive Screen: IPS 1920x1080 Matte GTX 970M 3GB GDDR5 i7-4720HQ 250GB Crucial MX200 M.2 mini ssd 1TB 5400 HDD

Hi Prema, I'm interested in understanding your Premamod pack and MXM for the Clevo P650se but trolling through the forum there is no "how to do it" "follow the bouncing ball" tutorial? Am I missing sometihng? (2nd post)

aussie280 replied to mcfee03's topic in Clevo Reviews & Owners' Lounges
Hi I have just ordered my P650SE with M.2 MX200 and 1tb HDD and 16gb 1866 ram. I'm trying to work out what the Prema mod is and if there is a way to overclock 970 but its not clear. I've searched threads but nothing? Any help is appreciated. -
