  1. Hello. I'm going to buy a MSI GT80, but I don't know if I should go for one with a storage of 256 Go SSD or one with a storage of 512 Go SSD? The only thing I believe I'm certain of is that 128 Go SSD is too small. I’m not going to play any video games on this computer. But I’m going to play chess and backgammon on it, and use powerful chess and backgammon softwares. I'll also use interactive development environments such as MatLab and SharpDevelop. On this computer I’m going to watch a lot of Youtube videos, as well as some series and movies. And on Firefox I’m a massive tabs user: I always have a few hundred tabs open at the same time. So the laptop better be able to handle all of these tabs without making Firefox lag and crash too often. So which storage do you think I should get: the 256 Go SSD or the 512 Go SSD? And will the 512 Go SSD make my computer faster than the 256 Go SSD? Thanks in advance for your answers.
  2. Hi, I’m looking to buy a laptop. The size of the screen: 18 inches or more. The price range: €2000 to €3500 = $2230 to $3900. For now I have found only two laptops with a screen of 18 inches: the Alienware 18 and the MSI GT80. But I didn’t find any laptop with a screen bigger than 18 inches. If you know of any other laptops with a screen of 18 inches, or if you know of a laptop with a screen even bigger than that, please let me know! Thanks in advance.
  3. Hello. I’m looking to buy a mouse for my laptop, which is a MSI GT80. 1. It must be EXTREMELY SOLID. This is the most important point of all. I have bought many different mouses before, and they’ve all been terrible (even though I’m careful with them). I have bought 5 (FIVE) Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX and they have all suffered the same fate after about 3 months of use: the scrolling wheel is broken and scrolls around the pages without me actually touching it, and the left click is broken and when I make a left click it has a 50% chance of being automatically converted into a double click... Both of these things are impossibly annoying and prevent me from playing chess. 2. It must be expansive. Because more often than not more expansive means better quality. So the higher the price the better it is. 3. It must be wireless. No cable. 4. It must not have many fancy buttons. I will not use it to play video games, so I don’t need fancy buttons. The only buttons that I like are the two “dual thumb buttons” on the left side to go backward and forward through Web pages. 5. It must be able to work perfectly on the surface of my bed. Since I’m planning to use this mouse on my bed, not on a table. 6. It must work on Windows 8. 7. It must preferably be powered by normal batteries. I don’t think I would like a “rechargeable mouse”. Thanks in advance for your answers.
  4. Hello. I'm thinking about buying a MSI laptop. I'm hesitating between these two: MSI GT80 2QD 046FR Titan SLI - 18.4" - Core i7 4720HQ - Windows 8.1 - 8 Go RAM - 128 Go SSD + 1 To HDD - en occasion ou neuf - Achat vente Informatique : avec la Fnac MSI GT80 2QE 045FR TITAN SLI - 18.4" - Core i7 4720HQ - Windows 8.1 - 16 Go RAM - 128 Go SSD + 1 To HDD - en occasion ou neuf - Achat vente Informatique : avec la Fnac They are both GT80. They both have a screen of 18.4", a core i7 4720HQ and 128 Go SSD + 1 To HDD. As far as I can tell, the only differences are: - The first one has a RAM of 8 Go, a graphics card of "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M - 6 Go GDDR5 SDRAM", and a price of €2286 = $2560 (it's cheaper by €588 = $659) - The second one has a RAM of 16 Go, a graphics card of "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M - 8 Go GDDR5 SDRAM", and a price of €2874 = $3219 (it's more expansive by €588 = $659) And so my question is: Which one should I buy? The first one or the second one? If you need to know some context and what I'm going to use this PC for: I'm going to use this PC many many hours per day, maybe up to 14 hours per day when I'm on vacation. I won't play any video games on it. But I will play a lot of chess (and some backgammon), and use powerful chess softwares for analyzing games. I also often make some programs on MatLab and SharpDevelop. Also an important note: I always have a few hundred tabs (sometimes even a thousand) constantly opened at the same time on Firefox (which makes it freeze and crash a lot). And many of those tabs are Youtube videos. Thanks in advance for your answers.
