  1. Hi Megaxxx, yes, my eGPU is not visible in Device manager. I'll wait for any advise or do you have any ideas? Do you also have the 3D version of Dell 7720? @Nando4 is probably the best techpro guy here... so I guess answer from him might be most helpful for us. Thank you
  2. Hi, right now I am testing third GPU - Nvidia GTX 745 (OEM). This one should take 55W and min power requirement 300W (it has no 6 or 8 PIN so power goes only to GDC Beast). To be sure, I tried another PSU - ATX 300W from older desktop (I m lucky to have that HW around...) Unfortunately, still the same result. my eGPU doesn't get detected in Device manager at all !! Tried to turn it on/off as described, plug/unplug, uninstall Nvidia drivers... only what I got is that after reboot it will install again my dGPU 650M... iGPU is not visible, too, (what I read) because my laptop Dell 7720 has 3D screen = no Optimus = Intel HD 4000 never visible... Am I missing something? Could Setup 1.30 solve this damn issue pls ? Are any other options to try? Red light is on, fans are spinning, miniPCI is instead of wifi... Malfunction of GDC Beast? Thank you guys, this answer could definitely help also to another user here, Megaxxx, who has probably the same laptop as me. EDIT: to provide more details about my testing: - I guess my TOLUD is 3GB (on image below) - I didn't uninstall the Wifi drivers, will do after this post (image of wifi module below) - each time I plug/unplug eGPU my screen goes black - that is weird, especially because no eGPU found in Device manager - using Windows 7 64bit - in my BIOS I don't see any option to disable dGPU
  3. Hi everyone, Beast arrived today and after few hours of chat with rgpu (to who I am really thankful), we can't figure out my issue. In points: - laptop Dell 7720 with dGPU GT 650M - today updated BIOS to latest A16 - laptop has 3D screen and iGPU Intel HD 4000 is not visible in Device manager (it means 650M is the only available card) - EXP GDC Beast is supplied with ATX 400W PSU - using miniPCI version instead of wifi - today tested GTX 660 and older 8600GT cards - neither one of them was visible in Device manager - neither one as VGA adapter - with rgpu checked the cable connections, all are good - eGPU not visible in Device manager, but if I turn off the power supply, my laptop screen will become black, hard reset required - I tried the same steps with disabled/uninstalled 650M, no progress Thank you for any help, much appreciated. I will post any photos if required. Thank you once again
  4. I'll use this one (it should be included in order) - http://img.banggood.com/images/2014/tanghong/07/SKU149984/SKU149984-62.jpg Or, at 1:22 in this video
  5. Ok, friend will give ATX PSU 400W, that should be enough for all except Hubble As you wrote above, between PSU and eGPU I'll use provided black (with EC yellow) 4-PIN connector. Will test with friend's Nvidia 8600GT and then with GTX660 . Regarding laptops, main goal for testing is mentioned Dell 7720 17r SE, I'll try to test it also with another laptop HP dv6600 - result might be helpful for all others. Order is getting shipped now from UK warehouse, next week it will be in my hands I hope.
  6. Thank you very much man, ordered with your coupon code, will keep you and Megaxxx updated about my status... I hope the only problem will be BIOS, (now using Dell Inc. A03, 13.7.2012). On Dell website is official update to BIOS A16 which should fix the invisibility of iGPU Intel HD 4000. And after that it should also allow to disable dGPU GT650M. Wish me luck! As a power supply I will try simple DC input, first card for testing should be GTX660 and if I'm not wrong, 12V DC power supply should be enough. Or am I wrong? Thank you again

I want to order Beast and test it first with some cheap eGPU. Please, keep me updated how will work PE4C, I'll do the same with Beast. Any experience can help to each one of us. And weird that no one described experience with our Dell 7720 yet, its an excellent laptop and eGPU can make it even more powerful. Thx
  8. Hi guys, I am new here. Please, does anyone have eGPU experience with Dell Inspiron 7720 ? Chipset: Intel HM77 iGPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 dGPU: Nvidia 650m RAM: 8GB CPU: i7-3610QM Thank you thank you thank you
  9. Hi guys, I am few clicks from ordering either BPlus or Beast... but to be really sure, if anyone of you have any recommendations/experience with this laptop, please help. Link for this laptop: Review Dell Inspiron 17R-SE-7720 Notebook - NotebookCheck.net Reviews For this chipset should work miniPCI (instead of wifi). Which one should work better? Any possible compatibility issues? Setup 1.30 required? Recommended GPU ? Stuttering, BSOD? Anything you know might help, thank you once again.
