  1. Hi, doesn't the gt650m run at x16, how come when you plug in a egpu and deactivate dgpu, the egpu doesnt also run at x16? thanks

  4. Hi, HAs anyone got a egpu setup working on the y510p. I saw a post about this where people are trying to connect it via ultrabay, but has anybody used the mpcie to do this? I was thinking the stickied bios mod with a mpcie to pcie adapter can make this work. but haven't tried yet. thoughts?
  5. I have the lenovo y510p with the gtx750m. ITs pretty good, still feels current after a year. i dont really play graphic intensive games on laptop, but it will run casual games great. great for college students who also want to game on the side. Once I get my egpu running it should be even better.

  8. HI, I noticed in stickied "EGPU canadidate system list" thread it shows NGFF.M2 PCIe (8Gbps) being a recommended egpu adapter. The link provided leads to the mpcie adapter. My question does anyone have knowledge if it is possible to use the m.2 slot for egpu setup? Thanks!
