I suppose I'm just genuinely confused about the process. I attempted to use the 2.08 bios provided in the thread but that didn't want to overwrite the 2.08 bios I already had flashed prior to attempting to remove the whitelist. All I'm trying to accomplish is removal of the whitelist so I can install my new internal wireless adapter. I'm not familiar with BIOS recovery. Could you point me at a post or resource for that?

How would I revert the bios on my y580 to 2.07 from 2.08 so that I can apply the modded 2.08 bios?
