I know how it sounds but really it seems like it comes down to trying to limit customer-caused hardware failures by limiting the accepted hardware. Yes, it's stupid. No, they shouldn't do it. Sadly we still have to deal with it at this point. Going to go sign.

I'm going to get my 5 posts then try and pull this and get it working on my y510p. The 7260 can barely do 10Mbps on my 300Mbps 802.11N network and I made hte mistake of ordering a card before checking on if there was HW whitelisting. Damned Lenovo... I'll update with status/issues. THANK!
